Bat Mitzvah Personal Shopper

Fri Oct 20 10:24:36 EDT 2006
This morning I was jarred out of a dreamy sleep at 7:15, when the
horrible telephone buzzing cut through the part where I was just about
to make out with a hot guy from my high school. Never mind that in the
dream he's still 17 and I'm 37... So anyway, it's my friend Sandy, who
is desperately surfing the web looking for a bat mitzvah present for
her cousin's daughter. She can't decide. Should she give money? An
Elsa Peretti-designed bauble from Tiffany & Co.? A strand of pearls?
Books?
Times like these people often reach out to me. Perhaps because I have
style and flair (ahem) or perhaps because my job regularly puts me in
contact with the hottest, hippest jewelry designers in the world.
Anyway, after a lot of back and forth, and conversation about the bat
mitzvah girl (sweet, shy, petite, feminine) we decided on a 6 inch
button pearl bracelet, which is sweet and young and not at all stodgy,
and Tiffany-inspired pearl studs, pictured below. (The girl of the
hour is about to become a girl of the hour with pierced ears.)The
gifts are sweet, feminine, appropriate for a young girl, and waaay
more personal that money.

In order to save myself a few more early morning phone calls (and so I
can find out what happens with me and McDreamy), we got these gifts at http://www.moonriverpearls.com

. Free shipping and 90-day returns make shopping easy. Oh and, yes, I
work there, so that helps.
