My friend Teri, an avid runner and purveyor of all things healthful,
suggested I alert readers to the new zero-calorie/low-calorie flavored
bottled waters, which, she raves, are a "good idea for when you crave
something sweet."
She says they do not quench her thirst but instead help her avoid
eating 40 donutholes. Teri maintains that Aquafina, www.aquafina.com,
which comes in flavors such as citrus blend, raspberry and wild berry,
is better than Dasani, www.dasani.com, which comes in raspberry, lemon
and strawberry flavors.
Personally, I drink nothing but Poland Spring (so pure!) or SmartWater
(pricey but I like the cute bottles). Out of deference to Teri,
however, I'll give the new flavored waters a whirl. How do you feel
about bottled water? A waste of money or worth the price? Tell me what
you think, and let me know if you dig the flavored kind.
