I love the products at Bliss Spa, and even understand why some people
pay outrageous prices for Creme de la Mer moisturizer ($1200 for 16.5
oz.). I get a kick out of the spa's fun web site and appreciate the
witty writing in their catalogue, but upon looking at their latest
offerings, I think they've gone off their rockers.
The spa sells shoes for a whopping $255 that are supposed to fight fat
just by walking in them. And they're ungainly to boot (or to shoe I
should say). I fail to see how weirdly shaped soles can fight fat.
And I don't think the $20 jar of fat-fighting caffeine cream will make
much difference, although the name is really cute.
Want to fight fat? Invest your money instead in fruits and vegetables,
get plenty of protein, drink water, and get your butt in the gym.
