Wearing Sweatpants Does Not Mean You've Given Up

If you're like me, you're busy! You run from grocery shopping to walking the dog to the gym to friends' houses, and back home to put away the groceries and clean. You can't stop home to change for each activity (who could find the time?) and so you inevitably get caught in sweatpants, trackpants or other gymwear.

I know Jerry Seinfeld says this means you've given up, but to me that just shows he's another clueless star who has "people" to do his dirtywork.

The Style Maven (me) says it's okay to go out in sweatpants. I do draw the line at stains and holes, though. I also require you to wear matching, clean white socks (not BLACK!), nice footwear, and a cute top. Now go don your Fruit of the Looms or Hanes and make me proud.
