I'd buy Elsa Peretti's gorgeous diamond, aquamarine and keshi pearl necklace (www.tiffany.com). Keshi pearls are those gorgeous "accidents" where the oyster spits out the bead nucleus. The resulting gem is solid nacre, so it's lustrous, and since there's no impanted bead, the pearl shapes are funky.
Elsa's design is just the right mix of serious and whimsical. Lovely!
