You Don't Always Have to Dry Clean, You Know...

Think Dry Clean Only means just that? Rules were made to be broken, my
friend.
Wool and cashmere can be hand-washed, saving you big bucks at the dry
cleaners. Use cold water and a mild detergent such as Woolite, then
lay pieces flat to dry.

When something is made of several fabrics, or has a very defined
shape, dry clean it, says Chris Allsbrooks, a textile analyst in
Glamour.
