Marc Jacobs Misses the Mark

Tue Feb 13 09:16:21 EST 2007
First, let me say I'm a huge fan of Marc Jacobs. He's to clothes what
Manolo Blahnik is to shoes, IMHO. The only article of clothing I have
coveted, in fact, has been a Marc Jacobs shearling coat. Alas, I don't
have a few thousand spare dollars lying around and if I did, my kids
would probably throw up on it or my dogs would jump on it...you know
how it is, but I digress.
Anyway, with its decidedly vintage feel, the spring collection just
plain misses the mark. Do you agree?

Dotted top and canvas skirt, $198/$248

Send this to Gilligan's Island

Knit hoodie and patchwork skirt, $118/$268

Patchwork? Need I say more?

Flat side zip sandals, $315

These will sure set your wallet back a few, but I can't imagine
they'll do anything for your legs.
