Don't worry if winter weather has left unsightly salt stains on your
boots. Just use a little trick I learned from SELF magazine: Mix one
tablespoon white vinegar with one cup of water. Dip a cotton ball in
the solution, wipe the stain and let the boots air dry. You'll be
kickin' around in perfect boots again in no time.
