You're probably going to give or receive a little cashmere this
holiday season. If not, I feel sorry for you. J/K.
If you do get something cashmere, don't dry clean it! It seems counter-
intuitive, but dry cleaning isn't great for the delicate wool. The
process and the chemicals can strip the natural oils from cashmere, so
either hand wash the item with a special cashmere shampoo or machine
wash it on a delicate cycle in a lingerie bag. Roll the item in a
towel to blot excess water and lay flat to dry.
