New studies show that you can feel fuller with vinegar.

Swedish researchers found that, among groups given plain bread or
bread doused in vinegar, feelings of fullness were greater in those
who had consumed vinegar (two tablespoons' worth).

In addition, the vinegar group's insulin and glucose levels were 25
percent lower than those of the plain bread eaters, indicating reduced
fat storage and lowered disease risk. Researchers say that acetic
acid, the main compound in vinegar, slows the rate at which the
stomach empties. (Other factors may be at work.) Worth a yummy try!
