Want to be a Sexy Swimsuit Goddess?

Fri Oct 06 20:01:23 EDT 2006
Take these tips from Stewart Shining, a photographer for Sports
Illustrated's swimsuit issue, as told to Allure.

Dip It "Dip your head back in the water before you get out, so your
hair is sleek. Comb it straight back once you are out of the water."

Don't Pick It "Don't fuss with your bathing suit as you walk out. If
it's clinging, drooping, or slipping, fix that before you get out of
the water, or just wait till you reach your towel."

Point It "On shoots, we do this thing called an 'air Manolo', where
the models stand on their tiptoes and walk out of the ocean that way.
It elongates the body like a great pair of heels. But once your feet
are out of the water, you'll look ridiculous tiptoeing, so only do it
when your feet are submerged."

Work It "Stride out of the water proudly--head up, shoulders straight
and squared. Smile. Don't try to imitate some runway walk, hips here,
attitude, stalking around. You'll just look silly." (Really? Damn,
scratch that from my list of moves.)

Breathe "Remember to carry yourself upright, but don't suck in your
stomach. People will immediately see that you're self-conscious, and
that's not attractive."
