I didn't watch most of it, because I heard it was going to be boring
and political and I really don't care who won for best original
technical costume design, but I did check out the red carpet fashions
(natch). Can't say I was all that impressed. There were a few
stunners--Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman looked especially
beautiful--but overall, not much floated my boat. What was that big
floppy green bow on Ms. Theron? And could Reese's dress have been any
more demure (or busy, for that matter)? And Terry Pheto?? Hello?
What's with Michelle Williams' yellow? She's gorgeous, but my gosh,
that color!
