Spritz Grapefruit, Lop Years

Fri Oct 06 20:21:19 EDT 2006
Seems like just yesterday you and your girlfriends were posing in
front of a blue sheet tacked on your dormroom wall and whipping up
fake IDs on your laptop, doesn't it? And all so you could sneak
into...uh, voting booths.

Fast forward a few years and, like Cher, you are constantly moaning
about turning back time. Look at me, I've been turning 26 for the past
nine years now. (Next year I turn 25.)

Good news! Stop torturing yourself with acid peels and think
grapefruit peels instead. That's right, the humble grapefruit can make
you seem younger. To men, anyway.

Scientists at Chicago's Smell and Taste Institute conducted tests to
determine which scents make women smell young. Broccoli? Nothing.
Banana? Nope. Spearmint, no dice. Lavender, nada. But, douse women in
grapefruit and men judge them to be six years younger. Who knows why,
but, who are we to question. Scents to try:

Miami Glow Perfume by J.Lo
Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll
Clean Eau de Parfum
DKNY Be Delicious

Warning: Don't try this unless you're over 19. You don't want to reek
like a 13-year-old. Let me know how you make out.

Final food for thought: Can someone discover a fruit that makes me
seem ten pounds thinner?
