When I wrote the blog on bourbon-flavored toothpaste, I thought I'd
heard everything. Nope. Companies continue to shock me (is it just me)
with their wacky inventions.
Jones Soda of Seattle has just introduced salmon-flavored soda. The
company hit it big around the holidays with its gravy-flavored and
turkey-flavored pop, and created the smoked salmon flavor in a nod to
the Pacific Northwest's fishing industry.
Company Chief Executive Peter van Stolk knows the idea is wacky. When
asked how he likes the newest flavor, he replied, "I cannot finish a
bottle. I just can't."
What's next, cola-flavored gravy?
