Ever heard of blue pearls? Seems like Google's getting more and more
searches on the term lately, which intrigued me, as a jewelry lover
and pearl expert.
From the web: Blue pearls get their colour from the shell of the
paua, the most brightly coloured and iridescent of all pearl producing
molluscs. The infinity of colours is created by the genetic make up of
each paua, the composition of the water and their varied diet.
Blue pearl colours cover the whole spectrum of visible light, from
red, yellow, green and blue through to violet. Colours flow into one
another, merging to give each blue pearl a character of its own.

Would you rather white, or perhaps black, or does blue do it for you?
